When can we fly ?

Balloon flight are tighly linked to weather conditions, a weak wind (less that 16 km/hour) and no rain are necessary to operate in a safely manner. Consequently, the take off will be made during the first hours of the sun dawn and the two hours before the sunset, when the conditions are at their best. For morning flights, we will contact you the day before the event to confirm time and meeting point. For night flights, we will contact you in the morning. In case of bad weather, we will reschedule with you another date.

From Where we take off ?

With the constant support of our partners, we have access to several places. It allows us to flight over attractive places and landscapes (castle, valley, several monuments,...) as our ultimate goal is to offer you a balloon flight with numerous points of interest.

The duration of a flight ?

The length of the balloon flight is about 2h30 and here is the schedule :

Transfer to the take off zone, balloon preparation, about 45 minutes
Free flight, about 1 hour (+ /- 10 minutes)
Landing, balloon folding, about 30 minutes
Breakfast or wine and snacks
Ascension certificate

Where shall we land ?

Balloon flight is a wonderful adventure in a beautiful balloon. Carried by the wind, we never really know exactly where we are going to land, which is definitely part of the game !
However, the pilot is chosing an appropriate area to land the balloon, preferably a grass field, with an easy access, near a road. The ground team will follow the balloon and will bring you back at the departure point.

Additional informations :

Physical condition : Balloon flight is accessible to everybody in good health conditions. In case of doubt, we recommend you to obtain a medical advice. We do not recommend flights for young children (less than 6 years old) or for pregnant women.

Outfit : Please keep your tuxedos and dresses into your closet ! Choose a more casual outfit, warm clothes we are loosing few degrees while going up in the air !

Insurance : Ballon Reve has a full insurance coverage with the insurance company Atlantas, covering personal and material damages. Our balloons are regularly controlled and approved by DGAC (Direction Générale de l’Aviation Civile)
